With cherry blossoms bursting into bloom Columbia International School held its annual opening ceremony on April 7 to welcome 56 new students.
There was an air of excitement as the new students and their families entered the school.
It was wonderful to see so many smiling new faces.
The principal, on behalf of the teachers and staff, warmly welcomed the students and their families to the Columbia family and encouraged them to make the most of their time at Columbia by getting involved in the many programs, activities, and events that make Columbia a great place to learn.
Ms. Mizoguchi with her son Tsubasa, our student council president, invited the parents to take an active part in their child’s education by joining the PTSA, the Parent Teacher Staff Association, to help create the best learning environment for all Columbia students. We are looking forward to a great year of learning, making friends, and having fun.
