WORLD ART TRIP

On Sunday, March 3, 15 students from our senior program participated in the WORLD ART TRIP in Musashi Koyama as volunteers.
WORLD ART TRIP is an art event supported by the city of Shinagawa, operated by the organization called LITTLE ARTISTS LEAGUE, a group of artists making the world a better place with art.
It started last year amidst the COVID era, in hopes to provide children with opportunities to travel around the world without having to leave Japan! The students played their roles and actively got involved in their duties.
Our volunteers worked at the reception, badge-making workshop, stage production, stage management, and some even planned and operated their very own Columbia booth where visitors could experience various languages and cultures from around the world.
The Columbia booth became very popular and never ceased to attract visitors throughout the day.
The students had an amazing opportunity to show some Columbia spirit and earn community hours, all while enjoying themselves! Great job, volunteers!
