Eight students (G7-G9) and some parents went to Malaysia for a study abroad experience.
It was the first time for all the participants to visit Malaysia, but they found that Malaysia is more developed than they had imagined, that they had more options for universities outside of Canada and Japan, such as British universities in Malaysia, and that shopping in English and participating in activities at elc International School motivated them to speak more English and make more friends from different countries.
They also learned that they had to cooperate with their friends and do everything on their own away from their parents, which was a valuable experience for them before going on to a university abroad. (Mr. Tanaka)
