The much-anticipated annual school field trip faced initial uncertainty thanks to some uninvited party-pooper weather!. Originally, we had planned for the Kinder & G1-2 students to visit Tove Jansson Akebono Children’s Forest Park, followed by Kinchakuda, and the G3-6 grades were to hike Mt. Hiwada and then proceed to Kinchakuda. With morning rain showers, we thought about going to the Science Museum instead. The weather got much better, so we decided to return to the initial plans. The G3-6 gang were so excited. Despite the bad weather, we had a wonderful day. The upper elementary students made their way to the river where they had a blast. The lower elementary students returned to the school instead of going to the river but managed to make the most of the rest of the day by doing fun activities. (Mr. Robertson)
