When I say Sports, you say Day. Yes, hooray for Sports Day! It was long-awaited but we were finally able to hold our sports day event on our new field for 2022-2023 on Friday, February 24th, 2023. Once again the Green Gators, Blue Bulldogs, Gray Grizzlies, and Red Rhinos competed in a wide variety of events. All teams did their best to perform in front of parents for the first time since 2019. The games were also live streamed as is customary for the past three years but it was amazing to invite families to the event once again. The crowd and participants were buzzing with excitement all day. We all witnessed Columbia spirit: perseverance, sportsmanship, and athleticism. Congratulations to the Green Gators who ran away with the title this year! See you all next year C.I.S. elementary, on the regular date in October! (Mr. Denard)
