Columbia Students Shine at WORLD ART TRIP 2025

On Thursday, March 20th, a Spring Equinox holiday, 13 students from Grades 9 to 11 proudly represented Columbia as volunteers at “WORLD ART TRIP”, a vibrant, multicultural event held in Musashi-Koyama. This marks the second year of our student participation.
A new initiative was introduced this year with a Publicity and Management Team. Team members worked closely with the event organizers, Little Artists League, to produce social media content and promotional videos, building excitement in the weeks leading up to the event. On the day of the event, they also played an active role through live streaming and other media efforts.
Other students took on a variety of roles at the event, including reception, badge-making workshops, stage management, and organizing the popular Columbia Booth. The booth’s multilingual workshops were a highlight, attracting a steady stream of curious and enthusiastic visitors.
This experience offered our students a valuable opportunity to demonstrate the Columbia Spirit in action?working across cultures, communicating with confidence, and contributing meaningfully to a community event that celebrates diversity through art. (Ms. Okamoto)
