The 2026 Science Fair was held on Friday, February 6th, in the big gym. Students from grades 7, 8, 9, and 10 competed amongst each other for prizes. This year’s theme was all about testing variables in a wide array of topics. The competition was very difficult to judge because of the good quality experiments. Special recognition goes to Emi and Takumi for their sound and hearing experiment. This year’s winners were Lana, Ayyon, Ayame and Lily in grade 10 for third place; Sanika, Laila, and Leia in grade 8 for second place; and Rin, Shuji, Maria and Haruho in grade 9 for first place! The afternoon program featured an appearance by Charlie Nishimura from Science Entertainment Inc., provided by the PTSA. The students enjoyed demonstrations of air and gigantic smoke rings, the effects of helium on voices, as well as live singing and music. Congratulations to the winners and great job everyone!
