Today, our school held its annual Spelling Bee, bringing together students from Kindergarten to Grade 6 for an engaging and challenging academic event. The competition was divided into two divisions: the Primary Bee for Kindergarten to Grade 3 students and the Junior Bee for Grades 4 to 6. Each grade sent its top classroom spellers to compete on stage, with Kindergarten represented by two students.

The Spelling Bee plays an important role in developing vocabulary, listening skills, concentration, and confidence. It also encourages students to persevere, remain focused under pressure, and demonstrate resilience when faced with challenges.

All participants showed strong preparation and effort, and the audience was treated to an exciting display of learning and determination. We commend every student who took part for their hard work and courage in representing their class. (Mr. Merritt)
