Grade 8 participated in the annual Jomon firing event on November 28th, joined this year by Mr. Moody. Throughout the morning, students from kindergarten and high school gathered around the fire to toast marshmallows and view the firing process. The flames burned hot and steady, producing beautifully coloured pots that showcased the students’ hard work and creativity. The event was a wonderful blend of learning and hands-on tradition, and its warm, festive atmosphere made it a standout success to end the term. The pots were exhibited at the Winter Fiesta on December 14th. (Ms. Hill)
