Kinder and elementary students enjoyed a fun field trip in the great outdoors on Friday May 16th.
Kindergarten students headed straight to the Nakahira riverbank where they explored the riverbank and cooled their feet in the water.
Grade 1 and 2 students hiked up to the top of Mount Tenran, stopping to notice the different plants and animals all around them.
Grades 3, 4, 5, and 6 went to the top of Mount Tonosu! After the hiking portion of the field trip was finished, everyone gathered at the river to relax and eat their delicious bentos.
The final portion of the day was spent by most of the students in the water – swimming, splashing, and exploring the rocks and surrounding nature.
