On January 17th, our school had an exciting lesson on traffic safety! Thank you to the members of the Tokorozawa-city traffic instructors for showing us the importance of traffic safely and for keeping us safe! We learned the importance of looking both ways before crossing the street and how to follow traffic signals. The students enjoyed a fun activity where we practiced pedestrian signals and how to stay safe near busy roads. To make it more engaging, we went outside and watched a demonstration using an actual motor vehicle to show how dangerous it can be if we are not careful. It was a great reminder that safety is everyone’s responsibility, whether you’re walking, standing or in a car. Stay safe out there! (Mr. Herbert)
