The Jomon firing was held over in parking 3 on November 28th and a good time was had by all.
We had clear skies and the fire was nice and hot! The Kyushu style of pottery was popular for the second year in a row.
Many of the decorations consisted of seashell patterns combined with traditional cord markings from Honshu.
We also baked some haniwa and students from various grades toasted marshmallows in the fire.
The Grade 8s did a great job and their work was exhibited at the Winter Fiesta on December 15th. (Ms. Hill)
