On Friday, September 13th, the intruder drill for students and staff at CIS was a great success. The “intruder” made their way to the third floor of the elementary building, where Mr. Tang did an excellent job capturing them. Police officers observing the drill were impressed by how quickly teachers barricaded their classrooms, and they commended the students for staying quiet and following instructions. After the drill, all CIS students and teachers gathered in the big gym to learn basic self-defense techniques, providing additional tools for staying safe outside school. Overall, today’s drill was a valuable experience, reinforcing the importance of preparedness and teamwork to keep the school community safe and ensure everyone knows how to respond in case of real danger.（Ms. Eunice）
