Every May the Kinder class takes part in a very exciting event called EPAC, which stands for English　Performance Arts for Children.
Many students from various international kindergartens come to CIS to perform their plays.
This year Kinder did a song-and-dance performance titled “Port Side Pirates”.
We practiced every day, and we worked very hard! We dressed like pirates in white or striped shirts and black or brown bottoms.
We also had pirate accessories such as hats, bandanas, eyepatches, sashes, and even a sword! A toy sword, of course.
Even though not every rehearsal went smoothly, everyone did a good job on the big day.
We did not win the main trophy, but we did get a well-deserved award for best costumes.
