On Monday, September 4th the elementary division had an assembly to welcome everyone back from our long summer vacation. There was excitement in the air as students were eager to see their friends again. Firstly, we introduced Ms. Chung our new ESL/ music support teacher, Mr. Herbert our new grade five teacher, Ms. Shimada our Japanese teacher, and our new assistant Ms. Shino. Next we reminded the students about some important health and safety rules, followed by some of our school rules. Next, we introduced our pillar of the month, Fairness. As sports day is quickly approaching, it is essential to show fairness during the events. Lastly we took a group photo of the kinder and elementary students and the new sports equipment that the PTSA donated to our program. It was a super start to our first week of term two!  (Mr. Denard)
